Default Wheel spacers

I'm going to run 245/50R 16 G-Force Sport Comp-2 tires on my REAR OEM AP1 wheels like member Madspeed on here and he mentioned using 5mm spacers. I tried contacting him to see if he used extended studs but have not gotten a reply.

The seller I purchased the spacers from says I need extended studs for anything over 3mm. Can someone validate this?

Here is the Ebay auction:

Some members here have told me that 5mm will work and that is the largest spacer you can use without extended studs. I have ran them for one driving season based on that. I am using H&R's spacers. I am not a 100% on this though, I get about 5.5 turns of the lugnuts before they are tight, and they are not hubcentric as the oem hub does not extend past the spacers. I've always heard that you should get 6 turns of the lugs minimum, so I am just a bit shy of that. I am contemplating milling them down to 3mm. My wheels have remained tight in all conditions and I have not had any issues with my oem studs up to now.

BTW I have extended studs from H&R for the 5mm spacers if anyone is interested in buying them - cheap- as I have never used them.

$10 plus shipping ?, probably $20 total shipped. H&R studs are high quality and they came with my 5mm spacers, never been used. If you are interested shoot me a pm.
