Wheel & Tire Help
I want some opinions and thoughts on what I could run as far as my wheel and tire size.
My fenders are rolled and pulled and bumper tab relocated, I'm on eibach springs and want to install tein super racing coilovers or maybe mugen coilovers. I want to know If I could run 235/35 front and 255/35 rear with no problems on 18x9 front and 18x10 rear. Will these tires fit? Will there be any stretch? Rubbing or clearing problems? Any opinions on offsets for front and rear? Going for a flushed look but not too aggressive. I want more function than form and my car will be mainly used for 1/4, 1/8th mile but I drive aggressive on the street so cornering clearance might be an issue. This will be my daily driver. Any thoughts?
Also, I wanted to run Nitto Invo's but they don't have that tire size in the front. Do you think it would work good with different front tires? Or does anybody reccomend any better tire based on experience?

What's your budget? I would say the best offsets would be somewhere in the 50s if you want a flushed look without being aggressive, and not much below 45 if you want function. The problem is that there are not a lot of choices for an 18" wheel in a 10" size with good offsets.
You could have some Forgestar wheels custom made to the offsets you like but it takes 6-8 weeks (www.forgestar.com)
I think a good look would be the Enkei PF01s in 18x8.5 +40 with the 235 and 18x9.5 +45 with the 255.
Or, Tire Rack sells some OZ wheels in 18x9 +55 and 18x8 +50...it's not as aggressive as you'd like but it is more functional.
My concern with the 235/35 is that the sidewall is getting quite short...it would probably be better to run a 245/35 up front, or go with an 8 or 8.5 wheel and run a 225/40.
Also, if you're mainly doing 1/4 and 1/8 miles, 18" are only going to add weight...it would probably be better to stick to a lighter 17" wheel. If you want more function, run the SSR Type F or Type C in 17x9.5 +65 and 17x8.5 +58.

I'm not putting any budget limits at all. Not really looking into opinions on wheels and which wheels I should buy but rather size and how well will it function. I already know what wheels I want, I have a couple in mind just wanted to know what offset range will be safe and have good function but still pull off a flushed/mild aggressive look.

So what your saying is that a 235 tire will be a little stretched on a 18x9?

I'm never getting too into racing because this will be my daily but my overall question is if the 245/265 setup is street-able and I can get good performance. I've read around and researched and it looks like i can run a pretty big tire but my wheels need to be in a certain offset to not have rub which is what I'm looking for. In other words a great functional flushed/mild-aggresive look.
