Thanks for the info....

Thats pretty dissapointing tho, I was hoping to get bigger "lightweight" rims and not only have them look better but be lighter, but alas our rims are pretty light to begin with.

Well they arent "Light" per say but for 3 pounds the cost doesnt warrant the 2k on just rims IMO. I was hoping for a looks/performance upgrade to help justify the cost, mainly its just looks.

knocking off 3 pounds off rotational mass will "feel" like a lot more...

you have to remember that wheel weights are more important than
they sound.

when standing still, the weight of the wheels counts almost as double their original weight - dont ask me how i read it somewhere. correct me if i'm wrong. this ratio goes away once you're rolling.

this means that if you jump up 3 lbs each with bigger wheels, thats 12 lbs total - then multiply this by 2, and now in essence you are adding the illusion of
an extra ~24 lbs to your suspension - which could make things a little
more stressful, especially off a launch.

how much are you willing to compromise for better handling? i'd rather
have lighter wider 16's than go up a size.
