Default Wheel weights (balancing)

Can weights be used on the inside rim of the AP2 wheel when balancing? I think I read on the boards that it shouldn't be done, but couldn't find it through search (even with google).

Any help?

Stick on weights have to be used on all OEM wheels on the inside plane. Clip on weights can be used on the outside plane.

This was the reason I opened the thread in UTH. The wheel forum gets very little traffic.

The wheel is designed to have stick on weights on the inside of the wheel, because you can't use clip on weights on the face of the wheel. You can use stick on weights for both planes, but it's a bigger PITA to balance with stick on's on both planes.

It's about wheel and tires, so it goes here.

this is exactly why....it isnt possible to clip a weight to the face on the wheel on any OEM s2000 wheel...most of the time a tire shop will clip a weight on the inner lip and place a tape-a-weight as close to the face of the wheel....sometimes they'll use all tape-a-weights...
