Default Wheel Widening

I would like to know if anyone knows a reputable company that can widen my back rims from an 8in to say 9 1/2 to 10inches. Also if not what is the widest tire I can put on an 8in rim.

Thanks Justin

If they can, I think the integrity of the wheels will be compromise. Why not just order 9.5 or 10 from the beginning?

I've seen this done a few time on the IS300 board. I was actually thinking about doing this with my stock AP2v1 wheels. I wanna 275 back there bad!

This isn't the thread that I remember but it's got some info and pics in it.

What are the costs involved in doing something like this?

If done correctly, the weld could be stronger than the wheel itself. This has been done for quite some time and is perfectly safe.

I agree. There is nothing wrong with it if it's done right.
