So recently I ordered the TSW Nurburgring's in gunmetal from this site. I get a call and message today from them and call back. Turns out the order I just placed won't be in for another 2 months. How would you feel? They apparently have them...but in other finishes aside from the option I chose. Now, due to the class and rep they want to uphold they gave me the option of having them painted any style I want....but for a price more than I had originally paid. Once again, how would you all feel about that. In a way, I'm sorta glad due to the fact that I'll have these wheels in a color yet to be seen on this forum. But at the same time I'm paying more out of pocket and waiting a little longer. I wanted to see if anyone has ever ran into such a predicament with any other vendor and if I should have cancelled my order rather than conform to their proposal. I actually prefer the finish I chose over the gunmetal but was alarmed when they said I would've had to have waited 2 months for the wheels. Have you ever ordered a part that was said to have been in stock and suddenly wasn't ? Would this be considered false advertisement in some way?
If they offered to refund what you paid then I don't think they did anything wrong. Especially if they told you right away. There can always be slip ups when it comes to the internet and whether something is in stock. They have no obligation to you other than say let you know asap that your choice wasn't available and offer your money back. As long as you are content with what your getting and the price you paid thats what counts. If your not happy with what your getting then you should have just had them refund your money. My 2 cents
