Thumbs up Wheres the R-s2 205's?

Hey! I see on the TireRack site the 245/45/16 R-s2's but where's the 205/55/16's? Only found them on 1 other site.. Just want to make sure I'm picking up my rears right now and later down the road I can get these tires in the front again...

They do have the 205/50-16 size, which is my preference with 245/45-16 rears, anyway.

205/55-16's are ~.3" taller than 245/45-16, while 205/50-16's are ~.5" shorter.

Hm.. Guess I'll pick the fronts up at the other site when mine wear out.

Whats your thoughts on the fronts? The 50 give to much rake you think? Any preformance loss between the 2?

50's don't give too much rake, front is only 1/4" lower relative to the rear (0.15 degree change in rake).
205/50's look much better, 205/55's up front look big (tall) with 245/45 rears.

There isn't likely to be much performance difference between the two, sight nod going to the 50's.

FWIW, my non-winter tires are RS2's in 205/50-16 F, 245/45-16 R, on 16x7 and 16x8 wheels. Very pleased with them.

sounds like 50 front it is. Also got pulled into looking at some Proxes T1r's. Still going with the R-s2's. Seems reviews are better grip on the R-s2's but have any thoughts on the others? The T1r's are 4lbs lighter on each rim than the R-s2's. 16lbs is some significant weight loss on unsprung weight.
