been wanting to get aftermarket 16's (Volk CE28N) but unsure of fitment against the control arms and lower ball joint (as it sticks VERY close to oem and the inside designs of aftermarket vary...i might be good w/ larger wheels but im new when it comes to getting close to control arms.. especially on this car

Just buy the 16" Work Emotion that medicalstudent has for sale, lighter than CE28s but you can't customize....

F 16x7, +35 offset - 11 lbs
R 16x8, +45 offset - 11.5 lbs

 

front offsets too low.. i like SAFE fronts... because going uphill w/ my drop and caster itl grab.

i think ima just stick w/ works for another year then maybe see what else is out there.. just got priced out on the volks today.. wholesale... and i was still like HOLY FU.CK FOR 16'S!!!!

 

Dare I ask what the going price is on 16" Volks? I imagine they're over $400 per rim.

 

COST, WHOLESALE is more than 400/rim..

this is CE28 16x7 16x9 was around 1800+ship

 

the SSR type C (1 piece) 16x7 (12.05lbs) 16x8(12.99lbs) come right around 400ea msrp which then means like 1200/set wholesale

not bad for same weights
