Smile who has work XD-9's?

I have them on my AP2 and ever since i have had them on they make my car feel really loose on steering. I tend to have to struggle lightly on the road with the wheel to keep the car from going side to side. The side walls of the front tires seem to have work severely since I had them put on. I never got a wheel alignment, could this be part of the problem?? The car just doesnt seem the same with these type of wheels. What should I do?

What size and offsets are the rims

Also tire brand and sizes would help

I'm guessing it is more the tires than the rims

The side to side thing is probably due to the roads you are driving on the grooves in the freeway's will do the same thing to my car and when I went to a wider tire it seemed to get more dramatic than with the stock setup.

Alignment will help if the car is pulling to one side. Provided the tires are worn evenly, if not you may need new tires to fix it.

Are you running a non-staggered set-up? this will also make the car seem more nervous or harder to handle (unless they are wider than stock 17x8.5 or wider with 245 all around or wider)

no they are staggered set-up 7.5 and 8.5 in back. The front tires are worn bad though; i just checked. They have less then 30% left. The backs are brand new still. The car does pull a lot to the right... so im not sure, hopefully its just an alignment issue, but first i need to buy new tires for the front then align.
