Why buy from Tire Rack?
i go to discount tire just because i don't want to deal with shipping. and i make them price beat tire rack... not price match
also, since i already go to them for mount and balance it's just more convenient to get tires from them too. and i always end up taking advantage of discount's certificate for replacement...
though i will admit that the few times i have called tirerack service was great

I used to buy a lot from them until I needed a specific wheel offset. The salesman wouldn't give me any information unless I told him what car it was for. It didn't matter what car as this was a custom application but it didn't matter. No car details, no service. Jim was great to deal with on a recent purchase but it was for an S2K specific application. YMMV.

^^ even if they are cheaper you can always still bring down their price, I just bought some snows and got them to take off about 75 bucks from 480 out the door to 403 just by telling them I won't pay msrp and I come all the time

I buy from Tire Rack because:
1. They reliably have low prices
2. Super-easy to deal with
3. Quick shipping
4. It's well worth it to support them because they give actual objective comparitive performance test data on tires, which makes picking a tire make/model MUCH easier as you don't have to GUESS which is better for your wants/needs/usage.

They sell enough tires that their tires are fresh and not drying out on the shelves for years.

I envy all you guys that can get your tires in a timely manner, tires arrived here 2 days after shipping, was plenty happy with that, BUT, i had to wait another week for the Postal Clerks on my navy base to actually allow me to pick up my tires >.<
