A LIP??!!! That's what he means by "deep dish". "Lip" is applied to rims. "Deep dish" is applied to pizzas.
You guys must be schooled in foreign gibberish.

Don't think you'll understand "chrome reverse" if you are not familiar with deep dish.
alright, pm me if you need more help. i know volks among other lines off the back of my hand
for an s2000 setup. the only offsets that will fit they make.
are 18x7.5 18x8 18x9 and their highest offsets avail are +50
your tire (245 vs 255 doesnt matter.. lip=rim) also.. u cannot run 10's or 9.5's for the fact they dont make them in that high of offset.
offset determines how the wheel sits on the hub.
for a big lip, u need lower offset. basically pushing the wheel outwards increasing lip while keeping backing plate same. its purely mathematical..
biggggest lips your gonna get..
18x7.5 Front +50 37mm lip. 1inch=25.4mm 37mm=1.456inch
18x8 front +50 43mm lip, 43mm =1.692inch
18x9 rear +50 56mm lip =2.204inch
also keep in mind the measurements given for lip are from:
the EDGE of the lip,.... to the place where the "spokes" mount.
so take into consderation the spokes where they mount are.. 1/4" thick
so subtract 1/4" :.25" from the above measurements.
that guys GT'U's HAVE to be one of the above setups.. so thats the lips your looking at.
keep into mind also. Mackin (volk importer for USA) doesnt have all offsets in stock.. they keep what sells and for everything else they call Volk JP and order em.. takes 60-90 days.. so whoever you bought urs from their waiting on them to come in and if you already ordered/paid their not gon canel the order cause theyll be stuck with them.
18x8 u should run 225/40 and 18x9 u should run 255/35 if you ordered an 8 rear.. u can still run 255/35.
like i said pm me if your still like WTF i used to own a few shops and pretty much still remember all the offsets avail off top of my head.
this might help you if you dont understand

also width doesnt have any effect on lip... its all offset. although u might have to change widths to get desired offset.
in a nut shell u can run the same lip ona 8 as an 11.. just the offsets will change..
people run staggered to get more tire in rear and sometimes to get more lip. but their wrong in their approach.
look at chart above.. u can run a super low offset 8 and get same lip as a high offset 10. both would sit the same distance out the fender.
for the s2000 their arent many "big lipped" choices as discussed in "big lips" the thread in Gallery.. check my post on there as well to understand lips better.
the biggest lips might be cheap cast wheels due to their sales advantage for people wanting bling and being cheap. i.e. axis Se7en mod.. its ok. their like a fat chick.. everyone once in their life has done or.. or almost.. so dont be scrrd to buy em./.
for quality wheels.. you'll have to find something with a curved spoke.. to increase lip. the most lip will be avail on the new iforged wheels...
or ive got 3" lip coming on some wheels.. but their gonna take alot of work to make em fit.. which i wouldnt suggest until u fully understand offsets/etc

Do you want to widden the fenders?
If you do you could getaway with more.
I woul do +40 - 9" allaround to get lip

look at offset chart spoons2kboy
18x9 +38 would be closest to that.. given that they will stick out .
ull have to shave fenders and camber in
mike @ evasive runs a 18x9 +40 and needs -4.2 camber in rear not to scrub
