Default Widest, lightest, properly offset wheels?

I missed out on a great deal and now am looking at new wheels. My car is getting 'charged as we speak. While I love my ProDrives GC-06D's, I'd like to find a wheel around 9.5" or wider for the rear. I prefer 17".

Thanks for any help.

17" you can order TE37s in 9" with a +65 offset. Other then that I think you will need to start looking at HREs and other custom wheels.

My ProDrives are already 17x8.5. Thanks, Dan. I have very little coin left after clutch, sc, and all the other little stuff. I can't afford $3000+ just for rims.

if you don't drive in the rainy season much, get some Dunlop Supersports. They are huge, 255/35r18 is about as large as a 265 street tire and have really good forward grip.

I'm not sure if they have hte right offset, but you can get TE37s and CE28s (the only two I looked at) up to 10" wide.

Skip,
You should stick with the prodrives. Most of the other decent aftermarket wheels are in the 8.5 to 9" width range so you really are not going to get much improvement. A real step up would be kenesis in 17x10 with ~70mm offset (around ~4k with some finish options thrown in). Just admit it, you want more bling
Seriously though, run a RA-1 on the street (like I do), you will get big increase in traction. I got 2 track days, 15 autoX, 5k miles on mine and they are just starting to get good (I plan on another 2k street driving, 2 more autoX and 2 more HPDE days).
