if this is for the rear, id go with a 235/40/17 to be safe, but depending on your ride height and if you have rolled fenders you could run a 245/40/17...

im running stock tires fine... but i was wondering if a 255 on the rear on that offset will work ....

1) 255 is way to big for a 8" wheel. Its do-able but your tire guy will hate you.

2) +43 is too aggressive for a 255 especially on the 8". If the wheel was 9.5" inches + then its a whole differnt story.

3) 245 would be your best bet, but you will still rub if your not rolled.
