Hey its my fault for lack of details and my question asking experience is not up to par as I am a newb to this forum. I just felt that he was a little bit on the dick side about answering the questions, but hey thats how he helps out people then more power to him.... No big deal to me, just a little kindness and help is all I was looking for. Sheesh he just broke my HEART by putting me on the ignore list!

dude, chill, xviper is just trying to help you out. If you search around the forums you may find the answer you are looking for and you'd find out that xviper has a ton of knowledge and will help anyone willing to learn.

The stock Bridgestone Potenza s02 tires (not to be confused with Potenza s03's or Potenza RE050, thus xvipers question) are a "custom" tire for the s2000. They are labeled as 205/55-16 and 225/50-16 but the rears are actually quite wide for a 225 width tire. Thus when you buy non-s02 tires you should buy 245 width tires.

The front and rear tires of the s2000 are different widths. So there is probably nothing wrong with your car. Do some searches, read up and welcome. And don't worry about xviper, but don't put him on your ignore list either, you can learn a lot.

What were some of the tire size dimensions you guys are running on your cars... I just bought an s2k a couple of days ago and the car came with 205/55/16's in the front and 225/50/16's in the rear. Does this sound OK.....
No, it doesn't. Sounds like you should have bought a Corolla.

To add, you're not very bright or just acting the fool. Personally, I can't stand either one. xviper is one of the most helpful members here on the board. If he said your question was answered in another thread, I believe him.

"Question asking experience" ???????

Can you not communicate with people or something??? Do you need lessons in dealing and communicating with society or something?? Maybe you're used to having things up your ass and thats why you keep stating the fact that other people have things stuck up their ass... but bottom line is xviper is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people to n00bs and everyone else on this site... for you to start talking smack like that for no reason was just plain stupid.

Unless you change your attitude (and maybe take some communication or other classes) you will not last on here. But hey that might work out better for the rest of us that don't like to stick things in our asses.

Buh bye now

Suspension: thanks for the reply and answer, and thanks for the welcome.

Captkirk: I meant that as sarcasam and thanks for your reply and un-welcomeness.

FF2skip: Thanks for your assesment of the situation and un-welcomness also.

I never said that xviper wasn't knowledgeable, I just felt that he answered my question a little indirectly and not welcoming for my first post here. This was not a post to offend anyone but just to ask a question that I was unsure of. Of course I won't put xviper on the ignore list because I was the one who backfired at him . I do appologize if I offended him and do hope to learn more from this forum.

HE answered your very vague question indirectly? Your first post? You admitted to posting in another thread about the same exact thing.

How is it that someone who seemingly felt bad about 'jacking another thread wouldn't have common sense in this one?

I distinctly remember being the newbie on this board. It was the first board I had EVER communicated on. The best thing to do is read. Search and read. This generation of instant everything makes me Someone had a quote in his signature: "Better to say nothing and let them think you are a fool then to open your mouth and prove them right."

Mr. Trustbran has sent me a PM apologizing for his conduct. I can appreciate anyone who shows this kind of maturity. There are a few here who don't show this ability.
I shall be pleased to assist you in whatever ways I can in future until such a time that it can be shown that this was a mistake. There are many reliable people on this site who will bend over backwards to help you when you ask, however, the one thing that is generally expected is that sufficient details be given and when lacking, a request for more specific information will be asked. Don't take this as being impatient or rude. Take it as a dedicated desire to give the most correct answer possible. Remember that a lot of people read these questions and answers. They may never post but will depend upon the information given to relate to their own cases. Those of us who spend immense amounts of time here doing this, want only to convey the correct information. And when one of us interjects to disagree with posted replies or press for more details, it is not to flame the individual who posted but rather, to ensure that others are not led down the wrong path and possibly harm themselves or their property.
S2Ki.com is one of the top 1/2 dozen or so internet forums read around the world. People read this stuff who never register, never post, yet depend upon the information garnered here.
Please keep in mind that the S2000 is "unique" in many aspects of its mechanical make-up -- in form, function and execution. It is fine detail that can separate a reasonable diagnosis from no diagnosis at all. I invite you to read the "stickies" at the tops of many of the major forums on this site for valuable information about the maintenance and unique characteristics of this vehicle. I'm certain there are many things that will be of interest to you and a few things that will surprise you about this car.

I think things will set themselves straight now. You understand that many of us have become friends over the years (I've gone to meets with quite a few of the boards users here all across the continent). We tend to see each other as "family" and what you have just witnessed is one family member supporting another. Now that you have shown your sincerity in this, I would hope that we can begin anew.

Defnitly xviper, sorry for my "vague" question. I will post more detailed questions nextime but as for now thanks for answering my Q's. I was just a little unsure of the tire size differences and thought that maybe it might be a staggered setup but still wasn't so sure. Glad you clarified that for me. Thanks
