Default will these fit for snows?

ok, I was digging around tirerack looking for some 16's that actually appealed to me more than the asa js6's. I like the look of the Kazera KZ-V. (Note, i'm looking for these as pretty much winter wheels, I know but don't really care about staggered widths for these)

its a 16x7 +50, only 16.3lbs and $5 more each than the js6 at 16x7 +48 and 19.5lbs

the bolt pattern is the same.

according to my calculations, the kzv sticks out 8.65mm rear and 11.35mm front compared to stock, vs the js6 at 10.65 rear and 13.35 front.

so, if Jim says the js6's fit, then I'm assuming the kz-v's also fit, unless there is a problem with centerbore or brake clearance, neither of which is addressable with info on the site.

so, can somebody informed chime in and tell me if these really will or won't fit?

Thanks,
John

They'll work. For 4 winters, I ran 16" X 7", 44 offset with staggered snow tires. They were fine. 50mm offset will tuck them in even more nicely. Here is a pick of my car (Silverstone on the right) with those rims next to a Sebring with same tire sizes but with OEM rims:

well, i finally managed to get on the phone w/ somebody at tirerack. I prefer to place an order w/ someone human than a computer for stuff like this.

Anyway, simple reason why nothing but the js6 is listed... the damn centerbore The gentleman I spoke to said the js6 comes w/ 2 diff part numbers for front & rear centerbore, and the KZ-V (nor anything else) does not fit the rear centerbore. The only other wheels they have that fit are 17"+, and I'm not about to drop another $300+ to go up an inch.

so, I'm now about $950 poorer and have a set of JS6's with Michelin X-Ice's coming. Oh well, as long as they fit, I can't complain too bad.

Call me and I can check. I believe the Kazera uses a ring and it may work.

ok, i'll try and give you a call in the morning if possible. (just wish i'd caught your post earlier)

status page says:
Date: December 5, 2005
Order Status: SHIPPING
Note: YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN RELEASED TO THE WAREHOUSE FOR SHIPPING.
Order Availability: In Stock
Date Shipped: N/A
Ship Via: UPS GROUND
Packages: 4
From Warehouse: INDIANA

maybe if these do fit and the winter delays have prevented this order from going too far along, things can be changed

update: they fit great

though i was a little erked when i discovered (after getting the passenger side wheels on) that the hubcentric rings had been put on the wrong wheels The rings for the front were on the passenger side wheels and the ones for the rear were on the driver side. Easily fixed, just annoying that i didn't catch it earlier.
