Default Will these rub?

Hello all, new to the Honda work and recently picked up a 2004 S2000. The car came with some stock AP1 wheels(on the car) and a set of Work Meister S1 2P that were on there previously. The care is lowered on Koni Yellow Shocks with Skunk2 springs. The fronts were 17x8 +32 and the rears were 17x9.5 +50. I never got to drive the car with these wheels on the car, but the previous owner said they had a slight rub. Well I don't really care for the look, and was offered a trade. Rims being offered are BBS RX's. They are 17x8 +42 with 235/45 in the front and 245/45. My main question is, will non staggerd wheels look funny on these cars and will these rub?

You are also going to be narrower than ap2 rear so that's not really an upgrade and they will look more sunken in in the rear. Are the fenders rolled? They had better have been with those wheel specs. The previous set of wheels would be good if you had fronts with a higher offset as the rears are perfect. You could always sell the fronts and buy 2 more that have higher offsets like a +40-50.

Also pretty sure those works are worth a good bit more than the BBS's so take that into account.

Yes, list price on the Meisters is right about double of the RXs, so be sure to take that into account.

So I'm thinking I'm going to go ahead with this trade(only person who'd be interested in the works would own a s2000 so no luck finding a cash buyer). He offering his wheels, with basically new times, with $500 on top. Worst case scenario is I'll just turn around and sell the BBS's and will probably be a million times easier to sell based on offset and being non staggered.

The fenders are rolled. The sunken rear part has me worried, but would a 15mm or 25mm spacer in the rear help that out or would that also look weird? I don't autocross or race the car and not into the "stanced hella flush" look either, just want a decent looking wheel setup other than the stockers.

Get fronts with higher offsets and keep the rears. +50 in the rear is perfect.
