Default XD Wheels

Hey I know they are pretty much exclusive to trucks but ive been thinking about a staggered 17"X 8 front and 17"X 9 rear Rockstar XD series wheels for the s2000. Opinions?

They will be pretty heavy. I looked up one model (the xd811 rs2 rockstar) and the 17x8 is 36 lbs and the 17x9 is 37 lbs. Also they may not have great offsets available as (for the model I looked up since you didn't mention one specifically) it was +10 for the 17x8 and -12 for the 17x9. Ouch.

I had a similar thought when I came across a set of wheels (which are also primarily for the truck market) that I thought would be the "perfect" for daily use since absolutely noone else has them, and they would have fit the S beautifully(18x10 +35 72.6 center bore all around) until I can get something custom... but they weigh 33 lbs each(before factoring in tires), and that is not acceptable for the way I use my car.

Depending on your needs/wants, the additional mass may not be a consideration (though I suspect that it is since you are looking at fairly conservative sizes) and though you haven't provided too much additional information about your choice, imho with the random raw data you can do better and still be unique.

Ya I didn't really look at the specs like weight and such I just put s2000 into tire rack or some site like that and they said they would fit. Idk i'm just having real trouble finding a staggered set I like cause im not big on chrome or a million spokes.

spend a week on the forum in the gallery and you will see there is hundreds of choices that are not chrome or a million spokes.

The wheels you are talked about possibly getting are hideous and only popular on trucks because the Bros can get them at their local Les Schwab where they overpay for them because they are too dumb to do some research. Dont be a dumb Bro.

I'm just tired of seeing cars people call original and hella flush ect. when they have the exact same bolt on part as a million other people. I want something custom to match the custom color I am going to paint my S sooner or later.

Ok I am with you in that I like different parts but truck wheels do not belong on a sports car. next time look at the specs before asking because the answer should be fairly obvious. Thanks for the laugh
