there ARE decent looking wheels around. it's tough cause our axles already stick out pretty far in the back and most companies make offsets that can fit on most cars. 949 is an awesome company, I had the 17x9 set, now I ordered the 17x10. malibu2envy would a set of Volks wheels interest you? lighter than stock rims, perfect offset for s2000, gunmetal black colored, 17x9 +63 17x7.5 +48, it's the perfect size for a +1 over stock fitment of tires without rubbing, meaning 225/255. I may be selling them pending the fit of the 17x10 upfront. Emil

Got a set 17x9 +55 in charcoal less than a month ago, with black alloy valves, and new 949 black lugs.

Super fast shipping, look awesome, fit great on a codriven 05 STR s2k.

Need to roll the rear fenders a little with the 255 re71r's, but all in all fit great, like the extra width, could feel a bit more grip with the wider offset over the TRM C3's that came off.

They're lighter, wider, better looking than the c3m's, couldnt be happier.

Owner of the car finished 2nd overall, myself a lowly 4th at the last event.

Thanks 949

If it is in that diameter range, yes

in for pics for 17x10 +52 with 275/40/17
Not really possible. The 17x10 +52 is optimized for a 255/40. Offset too low for 275/40 so they won't clear. Conversely, the discontinued 17x10 +72 was too high to fit 255's in front. We sold very few 17x10 +72's back in 2009 so we decided not to bring them back in this first production run. It is possible to use our current tooling to make a 17x10 +68 which could only be used for 275/40 on the back of an S2K. If you're interested, send us an email (not a forum post). If I get enough emails, we'll consider doing a run of +68's early 2016.
I´m might be interested in 4x 17x10 +68.
I´m thinking, 17x10 +68 rear and only need of a slight fender roll.
And adding 13mm spacers in front and making it to +55.
By this a could rotate wheels front and rear.
I´m on 255/40/17 -3 camber all around, and ohlins dfv lowest settings.
good or bad idéa?
Or should i just quit crying and roll my rear fenders flat?

Wasn't possible means no market for it.

Anyway, if you want to run more tire than a 255, you're better off going with 18"s and getting CCWs with custom back spacing. You can realistically run 18x10.5 square on stock fenders and do 265s square or a staggered 265/285 setup. Your choice in rubber will be better too. There isn't too much available for 17s greater than 255 in width.

How will offset Upper Control Arm bushings affect clearances on the 10" rims up front? (they push the upper arm inward about 7mm)

Specifically, will this setup rub anything? (suspensions, control arms, fenders..)

Stock suspension, not lowered
Rolled fenders
255 tires
17x10 +52 UL rims
Offset UCA bushings
about -3 camber

Thanks!
