Default BF Goodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 tire review

I have a stock 2002 S2000. First thing to say about these tires is that they are wide very wide. The front tires are almost as wide as the back very close. The front tires are two inches wider then the stock bridgestones that came with the car, the back a little over one inch! I really like this tire so far! The sidewalls are very stiff and the tires go where you point the car to go right away. The tires so far have very low noise to them. The tires ride firm and stiff but smooth! I drove them in the rain last night at 70mph and they did great just like there was no rain on the road. Also the tires have great dry/wet traction thet grip! One one thing I really notice is how well these tires grip in the turns wow! The tires also look great a cool looking tire on the S2000! So far I really like these tires a lot. I drive my S2000 every day so these tires do make a good every day tire with great performance to match. I cannot find anything wrong with the tire so far. I was going to get the Conti DW tire but they were out of stock on them at Tirerack so I got these and I am so glad that I did. I tried to find some reviews on these tires before I bought them and could not find out much so thats why I wrote this tire review. let me know if anyone has any questions.

I appretiate the review. I have been trying to get people to try these tires and post a review on them, but no one has. It is good to hear they are a good tire- I assumed they would be since the original version was good. I would try them but I am a starspec guy and I have brand new ones so no need for new tires,

Hopefully you can post a one month review. I'm looking to getting these tires, for my WRX. Just waiting for the wheels to come in.

Are you running OEM tire size?

I have these tires at my job for $100 each on special. Thinking about picking up a set since the price is so good.

I'd second that motion. They handle like all seasons compared to Hankook RS3 and Dunlop Star Specs. I have 1st gens on my car right now for my DD setup and the grip is pretty poor but I have no idea how old they are b/c I bought them used on a set of AP2V2 rims. I had the first gens on a 210whp 95 Civic and I had to get rid of them ASAP b/c they had no traction. Hankook RS2s were tons better and they aren't crap compared Star Specs. That was the last time I ever took advice from a person working at a Retail Tire Store. (was back in 2005)

I'm really wondering if the Hankook V12s are any better than this newer BGF model though?

SAM'S CLUB
They're like 87.88 per tire + 15 Installation.

Ill break it down like this.. These BFG's are an "OK" tire for a good price. If you can find any left at Sam's Club then you'll get a superb price for an OK tire. I think the only reason they have them this low is because Michelin/ BFG is about to release a newer version of the tire :-?

Good luck on finding some. They're selling like hot cakes. They have them some in 275/40/17's that I wish I could fit on apv1's!
