Default Electric impact wrench for lug nuts

I'm looking for an electric impact wrench for removing lug nuts on small to midsize cars (S2000 included). Opinions online are a mixed bag to say the least. Many folks say certain models are good while others say the exact same models couldn't remove the bolts on a kid's tricycle. I probably won't need to remove anything more difficult than a lug nut torqued to 80 ft-lb.

Most of the $150+ models seem to be capable of removing lug nuts, but I wanted to get some firsthand opinions from others. Do you guys use a particular wrench that you like? I want to stay with electric so I don't have to buy a bigger air compressor than the one I already have. I would prefer a plug-in model as opposed to battery powered.

This models seems to be good: http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DW293-7-5-Amp-2-Inch-Impact/dp/B0009HGCRO/
So does this one: http://www.amazon.com/Milwaukee-9070-20-2-Inch-Impact-Retention/dp/B00005T81G

Is there anything else cheaper that gets the job done?

Ok well... put another way - I'd rather not spend any more money than I have to.

i usually use a breaker bar to get the bolts loose and then a cordless drill... once they are loose, it doesn't matter what you use.. most of them have enough punch to get them off..

when putting the wheel back on, i line the bolt up, then use the drill... then just before the wheel is completely down (but not floating anymore), i'll torque them once.. then once all the way down, i'll torque them again.

Some guys at the last mod day were using this:

this is battery versus plugin btw.^

For the budget conscious:

Less than $100 at Pep Boys. I've had one for 5+ years. Used it weekly changing tires for autocross and for snow tire change overs on 4 cars every fall and spring. Works great!

I have a DeWalt 18v drill so the impact using the same battery was 140 from Amazon Prime
From another site

DEWALT DW059B
1/2", 18V Cordless Impact Wrench (Bare Tool)
The DeWALT™ DW059 1/2" 18V Cordless Impact Wrench is designed to work with the XRP™ and XRP Lithium-Ion™ Series of batteries. Drill is capable of producing 300 ft-lbs of torque and speeds of 1,650 rpm/2,600 bpm. This tool is sold without the batteries and charger.

I use Craftsman C3. Kit on sale was I think $120, with charger, drill, and two batteries. Having two batteries is great -- makes it easy to swap back and forth for longer projects (and charge the other while you do), as well as always having a spare battery in your tool bag for when at the track.

I'd prefer a nicer one for higher torque but, for just wheels and tires and random odds and ends around the car, the budget option works fine.

I have the bosch 18v lithium ion 1/2 with 2 batteries, 600 torque for breaking things loose, great battery life, can do multiple sets of wheels on single battery.
