Those who purchased the firestones, was there a rebate available? I'm debating buying a set this month to take advantage of a $60 rebate. If they typically run rebates I may wait.

I bought mine about 2 months ago and did not get the rebate. From what I can tell they run a rebate once a year.

I think its twice a year. The Bridgestone rebate, then the Firestone rebate. No overlap.

I'm at the 2000 mile mark and I still love these tires. Too bad I didn't get the rebate when I bought them earlier this year

Just did a track day on these tires, the original forecast had rain in the morning but it ended up only being a light mist which made th track damp. Did 6 twenty minute sessions and the tires held up great, they don't have the ultimate grip of the 200tw EHP tires but I never felt they were not capable. For me they were approximately 2s a lap slower than my regular track tire (Dunlop Direzza Z2 Starspec) on a short track that is very brake/tire intensive.

FYI these run a little narrower than most other 340TR tires. thread width especially.

I've been putting off getting new tires as I want to run AP2 dimensions on my AP1, but may take the plunge on these by the weekend before the rebate is up. $400 installed isn't bad at all. I'll post impressions if I end up purchasing

These things are heavily backordered on Tire Rack, at least in 225/45 and 255/40.
