Lowest offset wheel to fit on rolled rear
#11
Sweet setup spoolin
I went with a slightly higher offset and slightly small wheel width in order to get more rubber on the ground.
17x8+49 225/45 -0.6 camber fender unmodified
17x9+49 265/40 -2.0camber fender rolled and bumper bracket moved
lowered 1.2" TEINS stock dampners
TOYO T1R's
Of course mine is the yellow one

Consider this:
I am thinking of trying a non stagerd setup for next season.
My front fenders are 40mm wider on each side then stock so I have lots of room up there.
I am planning to roll my rear fenders.
Questions:
If I were using a 17x9 wheel and a 255 tire, what would be the lowest offset I would be able to fit?
If I were using a 17x8.5 wheel with a 245 tire, what would be the lowest offset I would be able to fit?

so based on what track tires you can get a rim that would allow you to run the widest tire f/r to support you driving style (break early break late, your comfortable slip angle (I prefer 5% slip good balance between speed, tire temps, tire life) ..ect)then figure out what offset is going to be needed to keep setup under the fender/clear the breaks.
But tire contact patch is only part of the equation to maximize corner speeds don

yep 17 all the way around
the pictures have that effect 16/17.
In person most people think I have 17s on the front and 18 on the rear.
the 17/18 assumption is due to the lip difference 2" front and 2.5" lip rear and the view from the back is sweet with a 10.5" tire back there.
