When I was purchasing my set with caps... I told the owner that people on the forums are having QC issues.

Then he told me his team will do a quality check before shipping mines out!

Good luck everyone!

I love S2ki!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got my shipment in, but looks like 2 wheels have scratches or white scuff marks...

I tried to see if it was dust but nope, its scratched in.

Did anyone's shipment come in for these type of scuffs/scratches?

Thanks!

I have the same imperfections...

Does everyone have these imperfections?

The center caps really need to be replaced though.

I actually had the same imperfections on 2 of the center caps.

I sent one in for a replacement last month. I might actually notify Scott about the other one.

I also noticed areas of rough casting in spots on the wheel, only close to the cut outs for the lug nuts. You would really have to look hard to notice it!

Scott replaced two of my 17x7.5 front wheels due to discoloration in the anodization around the outer lip. (I really did not notice it on the 17x8.5s.)

All the wheels have discoloration on the outside barrel that will not be seen once a tire is installed.

The discoloration could have been from a chemical used to clean the wheels at the factory.

I am surprised that there are some QC issues coming from a reputable companies such as Mugen and Rays Engineering.

My 2001 issue Volk SE37s do not have any quirks like this!

I have nothing but positive things to say about King Motorsports though with their prompt replies and quick replacements!

Can you still order these wheels or they are out of production?

I think Scott has some s2000 specific sizes left for sale. They were out of production and re-released for sale in limited quantities in December 2016.

Pros: still cheaper than a brand new set, comes with mugen lugnuts, centercaps, valvestems, FREE shipping and I cover paypal fees.
Cons: refinishing probably needed but low price should hopefully alleviate this concern.
