Default Mugen Wheels = Volk Wheels

I have heard and read (numerous websites) that Volk makes the Mugen MF10 wheels. Anyone know if this is fact? Just wondering.

The Mugen wheels are not manufactured by Mugen. Takashi Uno, the designer of the MF-10's from Mugen, told us that the they use various wheel manufacturers in Japan. It has more to do with who can actually perform the production. To my knowledge, this is the only S2000 product from Mugen that they do not actually manufacture themselves. It has more to do with production capabilities than anything...

As far as Volk making them. I don't think they are one of the wheel makers that make the MF-10's. But I could be wrong...

I am ordering my MF-10's in the next few weeks...!

Just check the Volk Racing web site... they will tell what rim they make.... they make wheel for Subaru Impreza STi, TRD, NISMO, MAZDASPEED. But I didn't see Mugen on it... so I assume the Mugen is not from Volk... and... I believe Volk wheel(TE-37/SE37A) will be lighter than MF-10

A little research tells me that Volk IS 'a' manufacturer of the Mugen wheel, actually...

But I do know that Mugen uses a variety of companies in Japan...

are you sure?? Huh, that is funny!!
Cuz if they do make wheel for Mugen, they should put it on the website... since they already posted TRD, NISMO, MAZDASPEED on their web site, why not the Mugen??... or maybe Volk Racing makes the lug nut for Mugen??

The "official" website for Volk racing wheels in the US is www.mackinindustries.com. Correct?

Looks like Volk is one of the suppliers of the MF10 wheel. Volk actually manufactures wheels for "TRD (Toyota Racing Development), Mazda Speed, Nismo, and Mugen " according to the website.

Derrick what website are you looking at?
