slightly stiffer but not as much as most of the competition. still same signature comfy ride. the tires squirm a little when new but that goes away in a few sessions

Anymore feedback from those who took the plunge on the RS-4s? I'd like to hear more from s2000 owners how they hold up on the track, rain, and grip comparing to the 71Rs. Specifically, how they hold up at the end of tread life. Basically, whether what you give up in terms of handling, driving dynamics, response, etc., is worth the extra wear life this may give you over the 71Rs. This will be for track, street, canyons, and autox.

I did at least 18 trackdays on my R-S3s and STILL had plenty of tread left and no grip issues that I could tell (DE4). I would have hesitated to run them in standing water though. The main reason I swapped to the R-S4s was a nail / rivet in one of my rears.

Just did 2+ days on the newly installed R-S4s. I see no reason I wont get the same wear out of them.

Look at tire track website. They were tested against the re71 and delivered the same lap time. And I can tell you that after 8 track days mine look barely used. And the track I run is open with no sessions whatsoever. I sometimes used 3 gas tanks in a day. So do the math on how much they get used in a single track day. The tires are just as bullet proof as older rs3 with the added speed to match re71

I have a question for all you guys, So i got a nail in my passenger side rear tire(Hankook rs4) and i went to firestone to get it fixed. they finally get the car in and call me back to the counter and let me know they wont fix it because the tires are word down to 2/32. I was in utter shock to see just how much my rears had word down. The front appear to be in much better shape. Is this a normal thing for s2000 to eat up rears while fronts still have so much life in them. Could it be because of worn out bushings in the rear accelerating the wear rate? The car has 125K with the original bushings. I plan to replace these over the winter season.

^^^^

I can't really speak to your problem as my car is pretty much track only.

Were both rears at the same depth? Same depth across the whole tread?

When is the last time the car was aligned? Toe issue?

..... you are supercharged ......
