STILL RUBBING!
So... I have a set of 17 x 9 +44 offset in the rear with 255 40 17 Kumho MXs and after rubbing, I had my rear fender lips rolled flush against the fender. The initial job was done by a monkey and he made a mess out of my fenders so I had to have them 'rebuilt' and fixed which cost me $1000. I finally get my car back and I'm STILL rubbing ever so slightly on the inside of the fender! I'm thinking about bumping down to 245 40 17 which should give me about .4" less width, and the diameter should be a bit smaller too. Thoughts?

I'm already running quiet a bit of camber... I'm dropped on KG/MM Race Springs and I'm maxed out as far as trying to get it back to 0 camber. I believe I have about 2-3 of negative camber already (I have to check my specs sheet when I get home).
I've heard that we (S2Ks) can run a good amount of negative camber and have no inside wearing issues but at the same time, I don't want to drastically change the handling of my car if it's not optimal. anything more than 3 degrees is probably something I wouldn't feel comfortable driving on a daily basis.

Yeah, I just checked my sheet from my last alignment and I'm currently running -2.2 and 2.0 on my left and right side rear wheels. The front is within spec of -0.5 on both sides...

run 2.5 degrees and you'll be fine. Thats the setup I have right now and I had 18x9+36 on the rear before with 255. also did they relocate the rear bumper bolt and bend the tab up?
