Default Wheel advice - Front: 17 x 8 +45 (235/45/17) and Rear: 17 x 9 +45 (245/45/17)

Hi everyone,

I've been doing some research for a while and have been a little confused on offsetting.
I have a completely stock AP1 S2000 and want to upgrade the wheels.

Through my research I'm looking at changing it to:
Front: 17 x 8 +45 (235/45/17)
Rear: 17 x 9 +45 (245/45/17)

Will this cause any issues with rubbing? Is that offset too low? (what offset should I get?)
I want to keep it staggered (I've been told this is best for handling).
(I also haven't rolled any guards)

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Those offsets put the front wheels 10mm outboard vs. stock, and the rears 20mm outboard vs. stock. It can work, but not with those tire sizes... 215/45-17 front and 245/40-17 rear might work. Negative camber highly suggested, fender rolling might be a good idea too but probably not strictly necessary.

Your tire sizes are off. For the rear you would want the 245/40R17 and front stay with a 225/45R17. The extra width and the lower offset is probably going to cause some rubbing. I would suggest more negative camber and then maybe a fender lip roll.
If I can help let me know.

Yes you’ll need to roll the fenders. Also listen to Jim about the tires.
