Hey guys, looking to get a staggered set of Advan RSII's, only catch is that I plan to also get an AP Racing or Stoptech Trophy BBK down the line. I'm okay with rolling the front fenders but would like to avoid if possible.

As most people know, the S2k spec sizes for these wheels are:
F: 17x8+54 225/45
R: 17x9+63 255/40

My only concern is I'm not sure if the fronts will fit a BBK. Searched the Stoptech fitment thread but couldn't find anything except someone ran a 17x9+63 with a 3mm spacer to fit the Stoptechs (and of course a roll for the non-staggered tires). Pretty sure the 17x8+45 will clear but for sure I will have to roll to fit a 225 tire. The other option is to run a 17x7.5+48 front.

I'd ask the vendor that is selling the wheels and send them the BBK template to see if they can verify clearance for you.

Default Ridiculous sizes

So from what I've found, if you want to run a size larger than ap2's(225F,245R), most wheels, even from well known companies like bbs, enkei, O.Z, and the likes, either they don't have the bolt pattern of 114.3, they don't serve what you want in 17, or the offset just isn't enough, and also the hub size is almost certainly not going to fit (can fix with hubcentric rings) . Am I searching the wrong parts of the internet, or is it just really hard to find wheels that you absolutely love with the right bolt pattern, width, and diameter? I'm looking for 12 spokes similar to the O.Z. Ultraleggera. Thanks y'all!

I've never had a hard time finding wheels in the right bolt pattern and in 17. It is the width and offset that are the hard part. Are you willing to roll your fenders? If so you have a lot more options as you can fit most wheels that are +45 or higher offset pretty easily. Volk makes the RE that looks like that wheel in S2000 offsets they just aren't cheap and you may have to wait to get them. Enkei makes the PF01 which some in S2k friendly offsets. The Rpf1 requires a fender roll but can be fit. There is options out there.

I'm not opposed to rolling, just haven't considered it heavily yet. The PF01s actually were a previous bookmark for wheels. I can see why so many people simply upgrade to Ap2 wheels. Thanks for the info!

I am really struggling to find a set of 17/18 inch wheels with the correct offset for my stock height AP1. Given that I am looking for bolt-ons (no rolling, tab relocating etc) that are wider than standard, give a flush-fit look, have at least a slight concave look to them, costing £500 or less, am I being unrealistic?

Yes extremely. You can't have a flush look and not roll the fenders. It doesn't work like that. The wheels sit inside the fender so they don't hit anything. If you make it flush it can contact the fender lip which is why rolling is needed. Also I think your budget is to low though I am not super familiar with the cost of different wheels where you are.

I have a very stock 2004 AP2 with just over 17,000 miles on it. I decided to remove the stock/original OEM wheels/tires: 17" x 7", +55, 215/45-Front; 17" x 8.5", +65, 245/40-Rear.
I then purchase a used set of Enkei PF01 wheels/Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires: 17" x 8", +50, 225/45-Front, 17" x 9", +60, 245/40-Rear.
I do NOT seem to have any rubbing issues with NO suspension mods/NO lowering. Also, NO fender mods, or rolling performed.
I have, however, heard of 'Front Fender Issues' under CERTAIN conditions, such as certain angles and certain compression in certain 'drive-way situations'.
Quote: It only takes one bad driveway or odd turn for a fender to catch. The rear will be more audible when they rub which is annoying but doesn't really cause damage. The fronts however are much harder to hear until it is to late. All it takes is one odd driveway where the wheel is turned and the suspension is compressed right for it to catch.
Question #1/Should I be concerned about 'catching a fender'??
Question #2/I would like to, at some point, install a set of HKS GT Coil-Overs, which would lower the vehicle slightly, would THIS modification cause problems with the above Enkei PF01 wheel/Tire combination regarding 'catching a fender', or other problems??
If the answer is 'Yes" to either or both questions, what do I need to do to prevent 'issues'? Thank you ..

Pretty sure your quoting me there. As long as you are keeping the drop reasonable and are careful in those situations you should be ok. I have seen one wheel catch but that’s been on slammed cars. Look at your front liners while installing the coils and then check them regularly for signs of rubbing. Missing clips or areas where the liner is getting rubbed thin.

Sorry if this is covered in somewhere in the thread somewhere. Under section 4 with the wheel widths and offsets. As long as I stay within those ranges i'll be good on stock suspension?

Thanks
