Wheel Fitment Guide

17.9.5 +51 sits at nearly the same place as 17x9 +45 does which does normally need a little pull in front if you run a 255. A 245 and the offset bushings may be enough to not need a pull though. The rears just need the normal roll even with a 255 so no worries there. So yeah I believe your thought process is sound.

Square setup 17x9 +45 CE28N, do I need to pull up front or just a roll + tab relocate and roll + tab relocate in the rear ?
Tires are 245/40/17 RE71R. Car is slightly lowered but can adjust the height upward to accommodate

You only relocate the tab in the rear. Roll it flat and adjust camber to compensate and it should be fine. You can pull it slightly for a little more clearance but if you aren't really low it should be fine.

Have you hit any real bumps with it yet? I looked at the picture on your instagram and it looks like the tires are 1/2"-1" past the quarters.

Yes, I drove from Sacramento to San Francisco in a variety of streets and had no real problems outside of the front of the car wanting to drift on rough roads but that's expected with wide tires in the front. The sidewall of the tires are about ~.5" past the quarters. I guess the real test will be when I take it to the track in a few weeks. I just wanted to share what I learned since I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what would work with stock fenders and no rubbing but I never got a solid conclusion from my research.

I didn't want to start new thread but after reading for last few weeks i still am not sure what route to take so i need a little bit of help
I have 03 SS that i bought from original owner that is on some h&r coils and 18 volk gt-c's . i do not like the look of the rims and i definitely do not like the feel the 18's are giving me so i would like to downsize the wheels to 17s .I didn't want to break the bank so i am torned between OZ aleggeritta or ultralaggera . i would like to run 225/45/17 and 255/40/17s but i do not think that is possible with ultralaggera 17x8/48off without rolling fenders (which i do not want to do ) . Any help would be appreciated as well as how it will fill the wheel well .

17x8 +48 is bad sizing for all around IMO.
On the Allegrita HLT, they do a 17x7.5 +48 and 17x8.5 +59, that would work nicely, though I'd run a 215/45/17 up front and 245/40/17 in the back (OEM AP2 sizing). 225/255 wouldn't be beneficial on wheels that narrow.
I'm fairly confident the sizing I recommended doesn't require rolling fenders, but someone else confirming that could be helpful..all of the wheels I've used on my cars have required significant rolling.
