Hi everyone

I'm currently running some 17x9 +29 RG2s with 225/45/17 RE-71R up front with Downforce Fenders. I had this same setup before with 235/45/17s and it destroyed my front fenders,

I've since fixed the cracks and raised the car about an inch on each side just to be safe. My question is how much can I lower again without rubbing?

Right now my coils are 15" on both sides, with the ground to fender height being 58.25" on driver side, and 58" on passenger side. I have zero rubbing issues even with hard driving right now, but I just don't like how the car sits, there's a good 2 finger gap from fender to the top of the tire.

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys!

switching to a more compliant wheel offset would do you wonders.

Moneys an issue right now but yes I do agree a higher offset would make my life a lot easier right now haha

Pull your coilover, remove the spring, bolt it back in, put the wheel on, jack it up to full bump, adjust as needed.

There is no other answer that anyone can give you.

Wow. Have you guys even ran downforce fenders before telling him to change his wheels?

he'd be better off with a +38-+40 9.5" and a 245 tire...IMO afzan.

245/40/17s would also be .175" shorter radius, and probably give you the best medium between the two sizes mentioned and clear better as well.

I've done some adjustments and i realized i mesaured it wrong when i did the ground to fender measurement lol, I've since double checked and from the centre of the wheel to the fender lip, I'm 13.25" for the front and 12.75" for the rear. Going to trim the fender liner and the inner tabs, drop it another .25" and go from there.

Also looking for evasive spec te37s cause those are just gorgeous
