FULL STORY

 

I saw this on tv this morning. It really sucks. They say he died instantly, that's a good thing.

 

I never knew stingrays where that dangerous! He died doing what he loved though. RIP Croc Hunter!

 

What a huge shock, i read this last night and just couldnt believe it.

 

He probably under estimated and miscalculated the stingray, just my thoughts of course. If i'm not mistaken, he's been bitten so many times but was prepared and had all precautionary measures. The most recent i saw of him was David letterman's show.

 

So sad.

 

The only shock is that they guy didn't die YEARS ago.

He lived so far on the edge that it's not surprising he went over the line.

I am sorry he's dead, but in no way surprised.

 

i meant that its just something you dont think you'll hear, as you said hes been doing it for so long. guess his luck ran out. im gonna miss the bastard.

From what I read this morning he died a minute after pulling the barb out. The barbs are wicked poisonous, but pulling the barbs out also causes major tear wounds.
