Actually, I'd be happy for them, but they're 6-0 (underservedly) and all the ****ing fair weather fans are coming out of the woodwork to let the rest of the world know that the bears are already 16-0 and super bowl winners.

So, let's start:

- They beat Arizona on a defensive TD and punt return despite 6 turnovers. Need I point out that Arizona lost to Oakland, who could barely beat most Division 1 college teams?
- Their opponents record is 14-25. The only legitimate team they've beaten is Minnesota, and they're mediocre at best. Seattle might be a solid win, but Seattle is not the team they were last year (that couldn't even beat the AFCs 6 seed).
- The rest of the schedule doesn't get much harder, save for two hard road games (at NYG and at NE) that will leave them 14-2.
- They have a sub par run game and a passing attack led by Rex Grossman, who might be the worst QB to win a game. Sorry, he's not ready to be an MVP yet (and never will be), fair weather fans. The offense relies on the defense to give them a short field because the offense is incapable of sustaining drives.
- Denver and Baltimore have better defenses.

C'mon. Dave Kreig won a game here or there. I'll give you: "Rex might be the worst QB to ever go 6-0"

BTW -- I still hate the bears, no fair weather for me.

In that context, it's an absolute.

You know honestly, WSB has the right to say what he wants, since he hasnt lived in chicago his whole life. So for him to knock on the bears is all good with me, he's not even from this city. But for the others, I dont see how you could hate a team that is representing your city. The one you have choosen to live in. I've been watchin them lose for who knows how long. And I for one dont give a shit how they got to 6-0, and how shitty the QB is or the running game or the D for that matter. Im happy to see the team that i've been watching as a kid winning. If they win it all great. If they screw up and dont do shit the rest of the season thats ok too, but i'll still be here next year rootin for em again.

That is all.
