Default Da Bears vs. Panthers

Alrighty sports fans, y'all are talking a lot o'crap about the Panthers in the media. So who do you think its gonna be?

BTW, isn't Ditka doing Viagra commercials now?

Honestly, I'm a Pittsburgh fan at heart (afterall, I did name my dog Bettis) but I have to take Carolina over the Bears until I've lived here a little longer.

da bears, of course. remember when the panthers came to soldier field last time? they layed down and died once they saw what they were up against. might not be so easy this time but i still see (well, hope) that the bears come out with a win. i think it'll be close.

Although I'm a Browns fan...yes I said BROWNS FAN, I am hoping the Panthers clean Chicago's clock. It's going to be a great game either way though!

and next year is the Browns year!!!!

It'dll be da Beyers at 58 to tree. If Ditka was still ca-oaching I'd have to say that I dunt tink the pussy-cats would even score the tree points. [/Superfan accent]

Seriously, I think Bears will take this one...the Bears have had a week off; their defense will trump the Panthers offense. The Panthers defense will probably defeat the Bears offense as well, which is why I say that the Bears defense will have put the winning points on the board for the Bears.

Chicago is just a layover on the way to Seattle, right?

How nice...the team would come to Seattle to watch the Bears play. Question, will they make it out to Detroit to watch the Bears?

Seeing that a CO from the Carolinas has jumped in on this, I'd consider making a friendly wager (like I've done in the past with owners from Philly...read here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry485185).

However, the Carolinas offer nothing I want except for great driving roads. Does Carolina have any good whiskey, chocolates, regional food, etc.? I mean, I guess Chicago has already gotten a prize from there, Huskergirl and Huskerhubby....but I want more.

Hmmm, we may take you up on your offer to watch the game. However, I'd have to bring along some southern food, like BBQ, hushpuppies, and collard greens!
