Not me, but my current roommate/best friend really 
s the Chicago area and is looking to get a job there at a recording studio. Getting a job at a recording studio is heavily contact-based, even more so than most other jobs, so I thought I'd try and throw a dart.
I'd most likely help him move, so if/when I do I'm looking forward to attending one of your drinking meets.

my friend (who's in a band) recorded her cd by a friend of theirs...but i think the guy runs the thing out of his house...so i don't know if there are actually employees or anything. i'll ask though.
