Fire Lloyd Carr!
I have been a Michigan fan my entire life. This is the first time in all my years of being a Michigan fan that I am truly ashamed and embarassed. I had the unfortunate displeasure of being in Michigan stadium today, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I have never seen a more unprepared team. Michigan was both outplayed and outcoached by a division 1-AA team that frankly doesn't even belong on the same field. The general consensus here in Ann Arbor is that today was the worst loss in the long storied history of Michigan's football program. I sold the remainder of my tickets for this season to a student, and I will not be purchasing another ticket to a Michigan game until Lloyd Carr is fired. I'm shocked that nobody is rioting (as I'm sure OSU fans would do if they lost at home to a team of this caliber). Although I'm sure very few people on this board are UM fans, I just wanted to get a general feedback of how many of you think Lloyd Carr deserves to keep his job. He's lost 4 out of 5 to OSU, gotten embarassed twice by the same USC team in Rose Bowls, and can't seem to make it into the Big Ten portion of the schedule without at least one loss. Some glaring errors I saw today were:
- major gaps in the secondary
- a muffed punt AND a muffed kick off return
- 2 blocked field goals
- Henne throwing on the run, across his body, into the middle of the field for an interception
- poor tackling for the better part of 4 quarters
- several false starts, an illegal formation, then a delay of game (most of these happened in App. St. territory during the most crucial possesion of the game)
The majority of these errors can be attributed to coaching. Another question I have for Lloyd Carr; WHY IS OUR 4-YEAR STARTER AT QB STILL MAKING FRESHMAN MISTAKES?! I was part of a petition signed by over 100,000 people asking for Lloyd Carr to be fired. It listed 10 reasons, and was sent to the President of the University and the Athletic Director. Maybe now people will listen...

I don't watch football, nor do I care one way or the other about most sports generally. But I have decided to get on the Appalachian State bandwagon before it gets too overcrowded. There is precedent for this move, however. A few years ago, I declared my undying allegiance to Gonzaga.
me too.
But the michigan game was.............. a shame. Appa State was a two time champ of their division i thought I heard them say, thats still no conslation.
I feel bad for ya homeboy. Root for a real team like.... USC?
As an Ohio State fan, all I can really say is:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA PWN3D!!!
34-32 App. Who?
34-32 App. makes M fans blue
Michigan sucks donkey balls. Donkeys that people ride up and down the App mountains!
Over-rated. Over-rated. Over-rated.
