Default IL Wind Farms

I'm interested in visiting a wind farm sometime this summer. I'd like it to be within a couple of hours drive from Chicago. Anyone know of any?

There's another huge one on 136, I believe between San Jose and 55 (I know it's definitely between Havana and 55), but that is QUITE the jaunt.

There is another one West a couple hours from Chicago, but I forget the exact location.

You can see about 100 of those along I39.

So you've never heard of Paw Paw, have you heard of Malta IL?

Vad, I think those are the ones I was thinking about being "West of Chicago"

I know Malta, because the cop there is a ****ing jerk. He thought I was someone else when he pulled me over in my Mini and copped a really bad attitude. Once he realized his error (checked my license and found no tickets on record, despite seeming very confident I had some), he let me go with a warning of "Next time I see you'll, I'll give you SEVERAL tickets!"

Needless to say, I have no intention of returning at any point in my life.

Our cop (yes, that's singular) gets a little bored sometimes.

Nah, he's hunting blue MINIs (or maybe just blue cars in general, the dude probably doesn't have good eye sight anyway).
