(btw, you forgot the AMG C32 - picking it up this sat.
)
Mugen SS wing, is bolted down with just one bolt on each side.
It uses same drill point as the OEM spoiler uses on each end.
So if you want to part with it for some reason, you can put the OEM spoiler there with just minimum hassle.
Unfortunately OEM spoiler is fastened by drilling additional two holes inner sides so once you done that you can't really go back to Mugen wing unless you fill the two inner holes that are drilled in process of installing.
I hope I made sense.

I've been waiting to do a photo shoot with my car... stuff just keeps on happening... and photo shoot date keeps on being pushed out. Not the best pic of my car... but oh well

BTW... that photo was taken at the Dragon by one of the Atlanta folks
Hey guys, just wondering if everyone is happy with their Mugen header and exhaust for those of you that have them. What should I expect. I'm about to order the header and exhaust and I currently only have an AEM CAI.
tks
tks
I believe King Motorsports has a dyno chart of the header, and exhaust on an S2000. Peak HP was like only about 5 or so and peak torque was about 7 or so but as you look at the powerband, that torque and HP helps in different areas of the revband such as mid-end power.
Obviously by adding a header and exhaust from these guys will make your S sound alot more throaty but I'm pretty convinced that when you buy from Mugen you won't be displeased in the sound and power department. Especially coming from an engine that has been tuned tremendously to begin with.
Also, take a look at the Mugen aero department... ahh, yes that would be in isle (hope I spelled that right) 13...hahahaha. Sounds like a day at Super Autobacs store or something. No, seriously, take a look at the SS2200 parts made by Mugen. They sell a different exhaust for the S but it will only fit with the SS2200 rear bumper. After compiling the cost of how much this would all add to and trying to see the justice in it I got to thinking, that cut in the SS rear bumper is just like what some body kits for other cars have been doing all along. Its there for reduction in drag from underneath the chasis.
Quite an expensive hobby we have right? Well, to some I guess having JDM or rather, the higher quality stuff means donating a kidney or something to that extent. Time will tell, and I wish I could get my payments over with faster. Heh...

nwk00, I think it's about the same distance. I'll find out tonight (My workout partner has an s2k also) & post back here.
Dubai, mine's #16. I'll have to remember that thing about the squeaks, thanks. Any advice to avoid the squeaks during the install? Hmm, I wonder why the serial #'s are going downwards instead of upwards when people buy them. Could it be, they only made an x-amount & sending the higher serial #'s first???

Dubai, I got it about 2-3 weeks ago.
nwk00, it's about the same distance compared to the oem steering wheel.
The s2k will be in the body shop (After installing the hardtop) getting the front bumper repainted (Too many rock chips, etc...) & Amuse-style front lip painted, along w/re-clearcoating the Mugen hood. So pics will be delayed a little.
