Actually no it doesn't...because you are a special case. A "balla" like you needs to have more than just a Mugen lip to qualify for this thread....however, you'll be ok for a three month trial period seeing that you have the exhaust as well.

In three months though, you better have some Mugen S1's and maybe some MF10's (of which I now have two sets and one set is for sale (perfect condition), and hey, I can bring them to V's wedding). BTW, regarding the wedding, Raj and I want to know where we can go in T.O. rent an exotic for that day (I want Ferrari, he wants Porsche or RR). PM me if you know.
LOL....

i forgot i had a mugen exhaust.

yeah, there's a couple of places that rent exotics up here.....i would've thought raj would have his own exotic by now.

Now isn't that ironic...don't you think?

I absolutely find it hysterical. Thanks for the find, though, Pete. I'll be rocking this one for a while (with freinds, mispelled and all).

^ But hey, its worth it man. The extra 5 pounds you save with that hood means that you don't have to diet yourself anymore. In addition, the vents will insure that your car doesn't overheat on your daily commute on the street! But most importantly, you will beable to post in this thread without getting flamed for being a knockoff .

That was pretty funny.

I think I need to accept the fact that as much as I love looking at the pictures in this thread, I will never be able to post in it. I find I am sometimes able to spend 1.2x or 1.3x the reasonable price to purchase a name brand and the adulation that goes with it. However, the Mugen rate of 2.0x is beyond my capacity of self deception.

Funnier** than that is that I started this thread back in 2002 for a place for people to post pictures of authentic Mugen aftermarket pieces on their S2000's and not commentary.

It's only in the last year or so that folks want to do more than just that. Regardless of the 5lbs I save from the hood, or the 10+ lbs I save from what use to be in my wallet before buying my Mugen stuff, it's my perrogative. For those with other opinions or what not, post elsewhere, please.

And if people that criticize can't tell that I do or buy what I want, just look at my sig. They'll/you'll see that I can laugh at myself as well.

I know this isn't my forum, but for a thread that's been around for a while, can we keep it free of everything else besides pics of Mugenized S2000's.

Thank you.

i am your proof
the reason why it fit so well because Jack's hood is 100% legit.
sometimes you can not tell it's legit or not from the pics.

Weave pattern is different,
fitment is definitely different,
the structure rigidity is different,
the shape of the last vent is different,
the curved edge over each vent is different,
the underside is different,
the Mugen hood has more functionality,
the price is different,
the quality of the two hoods is different,
the weight is different,
one's an original design...the other is an imitated design,
and the price to own is different.

The people who care that the Seibon hood is passed off as a Mugen hood care.....and no, they don't look the same.

As Gallery mod, you decide. I didn't notice it, but was the original thread taking longer to load with the number of posts and pics in it?

I'm good either way....however, seeing that we've seen so many pics of S2K's with Mugen parts on the O.G. thread, I kinda started this one with the intention of showing other Mugen goodies from other cars current owners/members have owned or now own (along with more Mugened out S2Ks).

Also, I think this alleviates deleting anyone's posts and getting his/her panties tied up in knots.
