I've been running the Mugen 2.2 header for over 15K miles with no cracks or problems

Hmm ... I really want to run the Mugen kit, but I'd also like to run a rear diffuser (not sure why, I just like the way they look on a well put-together car). I'll see if Ben from Bulletproof knows if the ASM diffuser would be possible on the Mugen rear.

Need some clips for the Mugen SS front. Specifically for the piece on the inside of the bumper that directs the air into the radiator. I had my Spearco there before, so I didn't need that piece. The Spearco is now gone and want a more complete look. I know that most of the clips are Honda clips, but with the wide variety of clips on the S, wonder if anyone has had to replace these and has the part numbers and where I can get some.

Thanks!

Anything is possible and with how flat the ASM one is, I bet it would work . The problem is you would need to cut it to make it fit flush like the one pictured and being that the ASM diffuser is like $3000.00 I doubt you would want to hack it up.

Either you guys aren't driving hard enough or the 2.2 header is made much better than my AP1 header because I've had to fix mine 6 times due to failures in 5 different places. The first 5 times were bracket and/or heatshield related. The last one was the killer. Then again, 25+ track days and 40k+ miles could be it...

Regardless, I still love Mugen , they just dropped the ball on this one.

In failure order...

heat shield cracked (twice), repaired

weld cracked on one side, repaired

weld cracked, repaired, then broke off completely later on, tossed the heatshield

bracket broke off, still functional, some headers don't even have this bracket

10k miles later, game over.

Just purchased and picked up a brand new Mugen CF Hardtop from Bulletproof and I am installing it all by my freaking self. -not fun since the instructions are in Japanese. Also not really instructions or tutorial and more of an inventory list of parts in Japanese. Some of the trim pieces are for the JDM S2000 too, so they are useless.

I might be an expert on installing this hardtop afterwards, since I will never be able to forget the frustration and hard work on getting this done, timely and methodical has been my method.

Pics will be up on this thread soon.

I will be looking for my twin on this forum.
