Saw Book of Eli, Daybreakers, and The Invention of Lying this weekend.

Book of Eli was very good. Actually, the more I think I about it the more I like it. I do understand though why some people wouldn't like it. I though. Don't want to say much more because of spoilers. Wonderfully shot though.

Daybreakers is worth the rental only if you dig vampires. Not very good, but not horrible - I don't feel like I was robbed $9.

Invention of Lying. Some funny LOL moments, but overall I'm glad I got "to rrent" it for free

watched an adult movie that i got as a graduation gift from a friend a decade ago. it's pretty scratched up and and froze in the first chapter. it's in the garbage can now.

I finally saw Sherlock Holmes and enjoyed it immensely. I also had good company, which helped, but regardless I would recommend it to anyone, fan of the original series or not.

Watched a "I hope they serve beer in hell" yesterday. Some pretty funny moments - especially if you think saying horrible things is funny (which I do).

I recall reading the book in entirety on a flight back from LA a few years ago. Have you read the book and if so, is it as entertaining?

[QUOTE=Luder94,Dec 29 2009, 10:21 PM] Haven't been watching too many movies the passed couple of years but these past two weeks I've discovered Redbox and I've seen:

World's Best Dad
Star Trek
Paranormal Activity
Bruno
Angels and Demons
I Love You Man

..and am watching at this moment Terminator Salvation.

Redbox is fookin' awesome!

A local member/owner worked for Redbox a few years back (he may still work for them).

I saw Edge of Darkness recently, it was very good, something similar to Law Abiding Citizen.

I watched The Crazies over the weekend. I wouldn't go so far as giving it 71 Rotten Tomatoes, but it was pretty good for a remake. It wasn't scary, but there were definitely some jumpy moments.
