Yes peeps, the wonderful Easter treat now has its own official thread! This is for everything and anything having to do with them...

They are made up of 99.5% sugar, corn syrup, and gelatine.
They actually contain carnauba wax!!
One serving size is 5 peeps.
They double in size when placed in a microwave on high for 75 seconds.
They come in yellow, pink, lavender, blue, green and red. (in that popular order)
It used to take 27 hours to make one peep, now it takes 6 minutes.
The number of peeps eaten on easter lined up from beak to tail feather would stretch around the earth.



Different ways people enjoy peeps:
Frozen
stale
fresh
toasted over an open fire
as a coffee topping
on pizza
microwaved

Tried to find an major peep-eating contest, but couldn't find any good ones. A bunch of smaller ones and lots of home videos of small peep-eating contests.
