i dont care if you or your "buddies" street race. just don't do it around me, my friends, family and people i care about.
and don't portray yourself as part of any car community while doing it because i don't want to be seen as a part of your street racing.

Street racing is sooo 1990's

If you absolutely must hang out and "race", the closest thing is Strat's. Be prepared to get pwnt by one of two or both groups though:

A) Faster cars (hustlers)
B) Police

I dont think Chino was trying to be a prick. Maybe he's just had a bad experience with street racing/racers.

 

He does it at autocross and track events, not on the street. Trust me, I've seen him there. I have first-hand experience that "shit happens" when driving, regardless of your abilities as a driver, and I (along with Jeggy, and most others here) don't want "shit" happening at high speeds around us or loved ones.

We don't mean to come across as pricks, but "if racing goes down", it is not fine around us. We get enough crap from cops thanks to the "car group" stereotypes when we hang out peacefully in parking lots and other venues.

We can still try to answer your original question, though. Unfortunately, I'm not of much use there.

 

The only street racing that is being done anywhere near you or your loved ones would be the races that happen from light to light when someone encounters another car they want to race on the street.

Which I have seen plenty of posts from members on here going "had a sweet run with so and so on the highway last night," etc.

last year Toyota park had cruise nights on the weekends.
1 mile south of Toyota park on 75th and Harlem, the wendy's holds cruise nights on thurs nights in the summer months.
