Poker
I saw the sickest hand today.
10 person sit-n-go tournament. There are 4 of us left. Blinds are 200/400 and I have about 850. I have been card DEAD all tournament. I won the first hand, and since then, cannot get a card higher than an 8. I joke with the dealer about wanting Aces. I am under the gun, first to act and I look down at K/Q off-suit. I figure that has GOT to be better than whatever I am going to get as the big blind in the next hand, so I push all in. The button re-raises all in (he has a LOT more chips.) Both blinds fold and the button turns over AA.

So (I looked it up) KQ off is 14% to win vs. AA.
Flop is QQ3
I am now 92% to win from here. ALL he can catch to go ahead is get one of the 2 remaining Aces.
Turn card: A
Crap, he has a full-house, which beats my queens. That puts me at about 2% to win now. ONLY the LAST remaining Q will let me win.
River: Q.
HOLY CRAP!
It was THE most bizzare thing I have EVER seen at a poker table.

I went to a game tonight. It was a $10 rebuy tourney. I couldn't get ANYTHING. Everytime I got a hand, I got outdrawn. It was actually kinda sick.
I had A.K, I raise pre-flop (two callers) I flop one K I bet, and still get a caller. The turn is a Q, the guy had K/Q.
I had A/K of Clubs, all-in vs. A/K off-suit. He goes runner runner to get a flush.
I have K/10 vs K/2 I hit the K on the flop, the guy makes small bets all the way down. He ends up rivering a flush, and didn't even notice it.
It got UGLY. I ended up going out 5th which paid $17. Then the few of us left played a quick sit-n-go. I FINALLY caught some cards there and won that, so I ended up breaking even.

Played in another tourney today.
There were 5 of us left. Blinds just went up to 100/200. I am under the gun with A/10 off suit. I push all in for 625. The guy to my left just calls. This gives the big blind odds to call with pretty much any two cards.
The flop is K Q J (two hearts.) I don't have any hearts, but I did flop the stone cold nuts (A high straight.) This is THE best hand possible right now.
I am all-in and cannot do anything. The BB shoves all-in and the other guy folds. The BB cannot turn over his cards fast enough, he is SURE he has the best hand. He has K/J. Two pair. Both black, so no flush draw for him.
The only thing that would help him would be on of the two remaining Jacks or one of the two remaining Kings. He has four outs. I am about 82% to win from the flop. The turn is no help to him and his odds drop to less than 10% to win. He catches a K on the river.

I might know about all of the "special" games in the chicagoland area. If you would know about them, aka, goto them, PM me. (you might have to go with me)
I am setting up, some classes on: pot odds, reads 1, reads 2, and reads 3 to be delivered and written by a gentleman from the area that was at a last table at a wsop event. Yea so, he's not the best, but he could get there. The class will be $99 for three evenings of class. PM me if you would like to join the class
