Sponge Bob isn't too bad, it's better than some of the other crap. I can't understand how the cartoons now are better suited or more "pc" than the oldies

 

Battle of the Planets was a Japanese show that was re-edited and all the voice work re-written and "americanized." They cut out anyone's death, and they got rid of the "serial" nature of the original story and made it so each episode would stand on it's own. In the later episodes they cut out so much of the show, they had to create a narrator robot and have it fill in the gaps. The word butcher comes to mind.

Anyway, about two years ago I caught a "rerun" of BOTP on TV. Guess what? they re-edited it AGAIN. Changed all the characters, and made it "PC."
