Cayman: $51,900
Cayman S: $62,100
Cayman R: $66,300
So, half the cost isn't quite accurate. Also, the S probably doesn't have those sweet fabric loops in place of door handles, and doesn't come in puke green.

I dig Colin Chapman's mentality for adding lightness, but I can't stand paying for it.

I just find it hard to justify new vehicle purchases if there's such better used deals.
But strictly new, yes, R or GTFO.
