Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. It's a "degree" for geeks. Like the Series 7 exam for traders or the CPA for accountants.

so you are certified to do what with Microsoft though - server software related issues or everything?

 

hey pete, when you worked at wrigley, what flor did you work on? was it the third floor? god i hate school. right now i am supose to be helping my group, but they are all num nuts except for one guy.

 

The classes relate to Windows server 2003. Designing, imlementing and maintaining all the infrastructure related to an IT environment based on Windows servers. It covers Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, permissions management, communications, web servers, security, encryption, remote access, etc.

 

When I started there I was on the 15th floor of the north tower of the Wrigley building, then they moved us to the lower level of the south tower for renovations, then to the 3rd floor of the north tower, then to a building on Goose island where i was on the 2nd floor.
