Alonso picking up Webber after his car died was really impressive. The fact Vettel did not pretty much tells me all I need to know about the little shit.

Last 5 laps were quite good to watch, the rest not so much. I'm rather curious why it's only ever Mark's car that has issues. Odd, very odd.

I love the fact that Alonso picked him up, but he should have done so in a safe manner. Hamilton almost ran Webber over because alonso parked in the middle of the racing line. just stupid. he deserved a heavier fine for creating a really dangerous situation. As it is, the 10 grid spot penalty for Webber seems excessive -- he just received a favor. Should have been a fine, if anything.

Oh well.

I can't believe Vettel's pace -- it was seriously insane. Pulling away at over a second per lap is ridiculous, especially when his teammate in "equal equipment" was languishing from 4th to 6th the whole race. Nobody's that good. I call .

Great race for Kimi, he even smiled afterwards! Alonso's start was so impressive too.

This was the third 1-2 finish in a row for VET/ALO -- that's only happened four times in the past, and it's always been teammates in dominant cars. Absolutely crazy, just wish it'd finish the other way around once in a while

I didn't hear about the fine(s) and/or punishment for Webber. That sucks.

Yeah, it really does. Technically, they were both given 'reprimands' for the action, but it was Webber's third this year and three comes with a 10 spot penalty. So, they didn't directly knock him back, but the effect was the same. It was Alonso's first reprimand of the year, which does not come with any real punishment.

I guess Vettel got boo'd again on the podium... I have no real love for the kid but that shit just ain't right. Hamilton has been pretty vocal about it himself, saying that it's not in the spirit of F1 to be booing and I think he's totally right. No matter what happens, these guys are putting themselves out there in real danger for the entertainment of a huge group of people, with winning being the goal -- no reason to boo them for that no matter how many races they're winning or how big of a prick they are.

I missed the podium when Vettel was speaking, but it was really bad at Monza. I don't like him, but the boo's are getting out of hand.

Now THIS would be interesting, Hulkenburg at McLaren next year to replace Perez (Perez' financial backer has been defaulting on payments to McLaren so they want him gone)
