Huh... The ones I use at Pick'n'Slave just get cut off if I scan the next item before it finishes talking. Still registers the item because it spits out how much it cost. I generally don't put stuff in the bag, I just lay it on the shelf-scale and put it all back in my cart later with a bunch of bags.

What pisses me off in the checkout lines is when you get behind someone with a basket filled with 10 items. And yet the people with 142,546,964,345 items in their cart are moving faster. All the while, you have 2 items and your stuck behind this slow person digging around for cash, then finding out they don't have enough, then writing a check that needs to be cleared, and also "oh wait" digs out forgotten coupons, so the check needs to be rewritten.

 

How about assholes in their nice Mercedes who get in the right-most (right turn only, mind you) lane at a light, then blast off when the light turns green to blast across THREE lanes, only to get to a left turn lane at the next light, less than half a block away. Ugh...

 

 

bad thing about my old CR, i didn't dare play "chicken" with people like that.

now with my 18 year old miata, i don't worry about minor body damage.
a few weeks back i forced an escalade up a curb because he tried to cut me off. i'm proud to say that he probably curbed his 22's.

 

 

I'm totally with ya... if I were driving a beater, I would have made him decide between serious curb damage or hitting me. Instead I just let the douchebag go.

As far as doing that to the escalade...

 

As far as asshattery, I've not attempted to do the 3 lane change thingy before in the Mercedes, or any other car
