yeah. oh well

I am leaning towards paying it - in my younger days, going to court proved to be a waste of time as somehow my insurance company still found out about it.

In Houston, I'd just go to court & hope the cop wouldn't show up. It worked maybe 50% of the time, but then I'd take a defensive driving course and it went away.
Up here, I just pay them. There is no defensive driving course and the judges just look at my record and say "you're guilty" so I'm screwed.

I'm probably due for a ticket, it's been a couple years.

Were you at least enjoying the drive before you got the ticket, or was it was of those not paying attention tickets? I hate those, but I don't mind the others.
