Vent Thread
Too bad I've had mine for a year....I could beat all of you by not having a cell at all. ... mines got a fancy touch screen, but about half the size of an iDontuseitasaPhone.
. . . mines been acting up lately...don't know why. Seems like manufacturers are building these things to last about one year, and then conveniently break so you have to/want to go and get a new one.

also with the standing in line for a phone deal... although I *DO* really want to get my hands on an Android phone from US Cellular, which will most likely be the Acclaim on July 9th.
My HTPC (Home Theater PC, self-built) died last night also. Not sure if it's the power supply or the mobo. Although, I'm thinking maybe there is something wrong with the motherboard because the USB ports appear to have power, but nothing else comes on. I have to pull it out to investigate further. If it's the motherboard, I'm not sure what I'm gonna replace it with. The motherboard that's in there now is an Asus M3N78-VW with an AMD Athlon X2 processor (I forget the model and speed). It's a bit older by now, but it does the job and I hope I don't have to tear the whole thing apart because I'll end up replacing just about everything knowing me. I'm running an nVidia 8500 gt alongside the on-board 8200 through hybrid SLI. There's 4gb of DDR2 memory. I'll probably have to upgrade the processor, graphics card, and memory to match the newer mobo. Uhhggg. I don't even know what DDR version they are up to now. At least I'll be able to keep the case and the hard drives. I do love the enclosure -- Antec Fusion 430:

Kamron, if you have a multimeter, you can do a PSU check by jumping the required mobo power cable locations, then testing the voltages using one of the many diagrams available online. There's a chance that some (but not all) of the voltages or rails are operating incorrectly.
reset your bios too, if your not sure how to do that, there should be a jumper and a battery, remove the batt and move the jumper over then back after 15 seconds then wait another 45 seconds and replace the battery.
